Am I definitely pregnant?

It is important that you do a pregnancy test as soon as possible if you think you might be pregnant. This can be done from the first day of a missed period. If the test is done before this time, the levels of the pregnancy hormone might be too low to be detected on the test. This means that you could get a negative result even if you are pregnant. You should take the test three weeks after unprotected sex at the earliest if you don’t know when your next period is due.
