Sage: Supporting older LGBT people

Older (50+) LGBT people:

A new project that aims to tackle the social isolation faced by older LGBT*Q people.
This is a partnership project between Yorkshire MESMAC and AgeUK Leeds. It is part of the Time to Shine programme to address the social isolation faced by older people and is led by Leeds Older Peoples Forum.

How to join

Older LGBT*Q people are invited to get in touch of you want to participate in the groups and activities we will be offering.

During the next few months Jude Woods, who is the Community Development Worker, will be out and about in the LGBT*Q community spreading the word about this exciting new partnership project.
She will be using a survey to gather information about the ideas, interests and preferences of older LGBT*Q people.

LGBT*Q people who are over 50 are invited to fill in the survey online

Get in touch if you would prefer to use a paper version to tell us your views.

Steering Group

Older LGBT*Q people are invited to join the Steering Group; this will involve attending quarterly meetings to give your views and help shape the project. Come along and try it out.

17th March 2pm-4pm at Yorkshire MESMAC, 22/23 Blayds Yard, Leeds, LS1 4AD.
