Leeds Sexual Health has been shortlisted for an award recognising the service’s dedication to pioneering digital solutions. We have been shortlisted in the Optimising Clinical Pathways through Digital category at the HSJ Digital Awards 2025.
The sexual health service has been recognised for launching digital solutions to improve access to sexual health services for the people of Leeds. The award specifically recognises the service’s online HIV prevention and chlamydia treatment service. The service launched our new digital hub in October 2024, which included providing the option for those eligible to access prescriptions for chlamydia treatment and a medication called PrEP. PrEP can be taken by an HIV negative person to reduce the risk of getting HIV.
Natasha Astill, Consultant Physician Genitourinary Medicine for Leeds Sexual Health, said:
“At Leeds Sexual Health we are extremely proud to have been short-listed for this exciting award. We are all thrilled to have had this hard work for our patients recognised. Our digital programme continues to advance, with new innovations to improve patient experience.”
The HSJ Digital Awards shine a light on teams and organisations driving meaningful change through technology, improving patient care, streamlining processes, and enhancing the overall quality of care. Being shortlisted is a testament to Leeds Sexual Health’s unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence in digital healthcare.
The winners will be revealed at the HSJ Digital Awards ceremony on 26 June 2025.
