The Self Care Exchange returns this October with the theme ‘Let’s Connect’. You can expect a lively marketplace of local health and care organisations, confidential drop-in testing and advice from Leeds Sexual Health, and plenty of opportunities to connect, learn and celebrate community.

Venue: Leeds Kirkgate Market Food Hall
The event is free and open to all.

Organised by Forum Central and the Leeds Sexual Health VCSE Network, the event brings together local organisations and health professionals in a relaxed and informal environment with the public. People are encouraged to drop in and be curious, ask questions, find out something new about what support is available in Leeds, and explore what self care means to them.

Here’s what to expect on the day if you join us:

• Marketplace of stalls showcasing local voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in health and care.
• Leeds Sexual Health Drop-in (confidential space near the Food Hall) offering:
  1. Free STI testing, including HIV and syphilis blood tests
  2. Pregnancy testing
  3. Advice on PrEP, contraception and vaccinations
• Opportunities to connect, reflect and celebrate the Leeds health and care community.
• Wide range of food options available to purchase from the Kirkgate Market Food Hall.

The theme for this year is Let’s Connect.
Let’s Connect focuses on strengthening meaningful human connections with ourselves, our partners, friends and communities, to improve health and wellbeing, communication and belonging.
