Leeds University LGBT Society
The LGBT* Society is here for all LGBT* students in Leeds. They aim to make the university experience positive and enjoyable for all LGBT* students. They offer a great opportunity to reach out and explore the LGBT* community of Leeds and beyond. They hold daily coffee hours in the Union - signalled by the rainbow flag - as well as a busy calendar of social events and nights out.
They host a free Coffee Hour between 12pm and 2pm Monday to Friday during term time in Room 2 of the LUU building (upstairs), where everyone is welcome to come sit, socialise, relax, and have a hot drink. Newcomers are especially welcome, you do not have to be a member to attend!
The aim of the Leeds University LGBT society is to provide help and support for LGBTQ students, as well as organising social events for members.
