SARSVL provides a safe space for women and girls to talk about how rape and sexual violence has affected them and to help them explore their options.

It is free to call SARSVL's telephone helpline from any number in the UK, including mobiles, and the number will never show on any phone bill. Messages sent to SARSVL's text message helpline will be charged at the standard network rate. The helpline is also available via e-mail. Your number and email address is anonymised so that SARSVL cannot see your details. The helpline is completely anonymous and confidential.

SARSVL offers counselling where you can self refer on their website. They offer short-term counselling, pre-trail therapy, and longer term therapy (20 sessions). This service is for women (including trans women) over the age of 18 years.

SARSVL also offers advocacy which is an independent service working with women aged 16 and over who have been affected by rape or sexual violence at any time in their lives, and who are either considering making a report of rape or sexual violence to the Police, or have already made a report.

For the counselling and advocacy service, SARSVL covers the Leeds Metropolitan District area, including the LS1 - LS29, WF3 and WF10 areas.

SARSVL also offer educational and awareness-raising talks and presentations to other agencies and a range of volunteering opportunities for women aged 18+, with full specialised training provided.
