Anything you discuss with us stays between you and the healthcare professionals at Leeds Sexual Health. We will never share your information with parents, care givers, teachers, or anyone else without your permission unless there’s a serious risk involved.

Our main goal is to make sure you feel comfortable coming to us for help, without fear that your personal information will be shared.

When might we share information?

In rare cases, we might need to share information with other professionals if we’re concerned about your safety. For example, if we believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, we might have to inform someone who can help, like a social worker. But we will always attempt to talk to you about this first, so you understand what is happening and why.

What happens during your appointment?

We’re here to listen, give advice, and offer the support you need. We offer contraception, sexual health testing, treatment and prevention of infections. As part of your visit, we will routinely ask you questions about yourself and your life to check your safety. We will always ask to see you alone for this reason, but you are welcome to bring someone for support.

Our goal is to help you make informed decisions about your sexual health, not to judge or pressure you in any way.
